Whether it's in office, or in the privacy of your own home, NoMad Massage will create a safe and secure environment, where you can be completely at ease while taking care of your mind and body.
Services by NoMad Massage are strictly professional and any mention of illicit or illegal activities will not be tolerated. The primary objective is treatment with therapeutic relaxation. Questions asked should maintain the same standards as with any other medical professional. If you would not ask the question to your doctor, it should not be asked to your Massage Therapist. This will result in immediate blocking or ending of the session.

What to Expect
With NoMad, you receive Intuitive Bodywork that is focused on the present session, rather than primarily on chronic conditions. While complaints are addressed during the massage, part of the experience is having the body assessed in real-time and working with what presents itself. Although Intuitive, NoMad is proud of the (continuing) education, knowledge, and research that has gone into perfecting these skills.

Raffy's style can be described as slow, gradual work, that helps to reach the deepest tissues in the body. It's the SAME affect as a heavily pressured massage, but with no pain!

What is Myofascial Energetic Release (MER)?
MER is a form of Deep Bodywork practiced with skill and sensitivity. The purpose of MER is to alleviate acute and chronic pain, making it an indispensable tool in treating widespread conditions of body and head pain.
MER uses deep sensitive touch, focusing on the cause of chronic pain; overly contracted soft tissue.
MER works with a unique synthesis of deep and soft connective tissue manipulation, joint release, energy and breath work, and myofascial unwinding. This progressively opens the body’s soft tissue layers, helping to activate the body’s natural ability for self-correction and healing.
Unwinding is done by providing jostling and vibrational movements which help release physical and emotional holding patterns. With support and sensitivity, a safe space is created, educating and empowering the client to listen and follow the body’s natural release of trauma.
MER must be tailored to each client’s individual needs, their specific complaint, and the overall condition of their physical, mental, and emotional health.
Clients with disabilities or the inability to give informed consent are to be accompanied by a guardian or caregiver, who is required to stay in the Massage space for the entirety of the session.
